Prepress is no longer a place where type is set, paste-ups are shot, and film is made. Today, the latest in computer technology and file transfer is combined with imagesetters, scanners, proofing and direct-to-plate equipment. (Direct-to-plate eliminates the need for film, stripping negatives, and then plating. Your job goes directly from computer files to plates.) To provide the solutions you need, we have all of this and more in our state-of-the-art prepress department.
We are both Mac and PC compatible, and we have the latest versions of software, fonts, and hardware in order to work with your files. Precise color calibration and balance are maintained on all monitors and imaging equipment, we will provide contact proofs and/or bluelines so you’ll know exactly what to expect in the printing process.
Our skilled staff is more than happy to give you any help you need with your electronic files. Like the attendant who used to clean your windshield with every fill-up, we always try to go that extra step to give you the service you want.
